75-3311. The state board of social welfare is hereby authorized to purchase, erect or lease buildings and to equip and furnish the same for use as a training school for rehabilitation of the blind and for such purpose is authorized to expend the sum of not to exceed $125,000 out of funds heretofore or hereafter allocated for the purpose of prevention of blindness, restoration of sight, and rehabilitation of the blind: Provided, If said sum is insufficient, the state board of social welfare is hereby authorized to expend, in addition thereto, a sum not to exceed $20,000 for such use and purpose and from funds so allocated. |
