Chairman Peck opened the hearing on SB389.
Revisior Tamera Lawrence gave an overview of the bill. (Attachment 1).
Jackie Garigiola, Associate Counsel, Kansas Livestock Association, spoke in favor bill. If passed it would ensure protection against trespassing or entry through knowingly fraudulent statements on employment applications for animal facilities and field crop production areas. (Attachment 2). Ms. Garigiola stood for questions.
