Brief

       HB 2654 would provide a sales tax exemption for all sales of property and services purchased by or on behalf of Wheat Bowl, Inc., as well as all sales of admissions to the annual Wheat Bowl football game.

Background

       Representative Bethell appeared as the principal proponent.

       A fiscal note from the Department of Revenue indicated that the exemption would be expected to reduce sales tax receipts by about $5,000.
