Background
Representatives of the Kansas Urban Forestry Council, the Kansas Arborist Association, the Kansas Nursery and Landscape Association, and the Kansas Forestry Service testified as proponents of the bill.
The Committee amended the bill requesting the Governor issue a proclamation, so as to eliminate the cost of publication in the Kansas Register.
The fiscal note from the Division of the Budget indicates passage of SB 133 would have no fiscal impact on state revenues.
