CHAPTER 90 HOUSE BILL No. 2738 An Act concerning weights and measures; relating to liquefied petroleum; exchanged containers; amending K.S.A. 83-148 and repealing the existing section. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

Section 1. K.S.A. 83-148 is hereby amended to read as follows: 83-
148. Except as otherwise provided, when liquefied petroleum gas is sold
by the package or container, either by a refilling of a container or an
exchange of containers, the vendor shall give the purchaser full credit for
the unused liquid remaining in a container being exchanged or refilled.
The provisions of this section shall not apply to an exchange of containers
when the exchanged container is delivered to the vendor by the purchaser.

Sec. 2. K.S.A. 83-148 is hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
