Heavenly Father,
The things we tend to worry about

One gray hair will drive us crazy
And if the meal is not on time,
You'd think the waiter or the chef

the 1997 Legislature to prepare a report on the ``overall direction of programs and activities
funded from the state water plan fund.''
The Vice-President announced the above reports are on file in the office of the Secretary
of the Senate and are available for review at any time.

Committee on Ways and Means recommends SB 399 be amended on page 4, in line
1, by striking all after ``(j)''; by striking all in lines 2 through 4 and inserting in lieu thereof:
``No person who is in the custody of the secretary of corrections and who provides services,
under direct supervision, in nonpatient areas, on the grounds or other areas designated by
the superintendent of the Kansas soldiers' home, the Kansas veterans' home, Larned state
hospital or Osawatomie state hospital shall be subject to the provisions of this section while
providing such services.''; and the bill be passed as amended.
