MOTIONS TO CONCUR AND NONCONCUR On motion of Rep. Bradley, the House nonconcurred in Senate amendments to HB 2071 and asked for a conference. Speaker Shallenburger thereupon appointed Reps. Bradley, Wilson and Kirk as conferees on the part of the House. On motion of Rep. Bradley, the House nonconcurred in Senate amendments to HB 2083 and asked for a conference. Humerickhouse in the chair. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE On motion of Rep. Humerickhouse, Committee of the Whole report, as follows, was adopted: Recommended that HB 2479 be passed. Committee report to HB 2484 be adopted and the bill be passed as amended. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES The Committee on Governmental Organization and Elections recommends SB 267, as amended by Senate Committee, be passed and, becuase the committee is of the opinion that the bill is of a noncontroversial nature, be placed on the consent calendar. The Committee on Governmental Organization and Elections recommends SB 232, as amended by Senate Committee of the Whole, be amended on page 3, in line 17, following ``body'' by inserting ``of a city or by a resolution of the governing body of a county''; On page 4, in line 25, by striking ``at least'' and inserting ``not less than 10 nor more than''; On page 7, in line 24, before ``the'' by inserting ``in''; On page 8, in line 17, by striking ``statute book'' and inserting ``Kansas register''; and the bill be passed as amended. The Committee on Transportation recommends SB 169 be passsed.
