CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging Congress to work with for-
10 eign entities and
markets to eliminate barriers and sanctions that block
11 United States
agricultural exports.

13 WHEREAS, Foreign
entities and markets currently ban certain
14 United States agricultural products such as
genetically modified crops and
15 hormone treated beef; and
16 WHEREAS, The
United States should promote science-based deci-
17 sion making and enforcement measures
concerning such banned agri-
18 cultural products: Now, therefore,
19 Be it resolved by
the Senate of the State of Kansas, the House of Rep-
20 resentatives concurring
therein: That Congress work with foreign en-
21 tities and markets to eliminate barriers
and sanctions that block United
22 States agricultural exports; and
23 Be it further
resolved: That the Secretary of State be directed to
send
24 enrolled copies of this resolution to the
President of the United States;
25 the Vice-President of the United States;
Majority Leader and Minority
26 Leader of the United States Senate; the
Speaker, Majority Leader and
27 Minority Leader of the United States House
of Representatives; the Sec-
28 retary of the United States Department of
Agriculture; and to each mem-
29 ber of the Kansas Congressional
Delegation.
