18             AN ACT making and concerning appropriations for the fiscal year ending
19             June 30, 1999, for the Kansas commission on veterans affairs for a
20             donation for the Women in Military Service for America Memorial;
21             authorizing certain transfers and imposing certain restrictions and lim-
22             itations, and directing or authorizing certain receipts and disburse-
23             ments and acts incidental to the foregoing.

26       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
27        Section 1. (a) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 1999, appropriations
28       are hereby made, restrictions and limitations are hereby imposed, and
29       transfers, receipts, disbursements and acts incidental to the foregoing are
30       hereby directed or authorized as provided in this act.
31        Sec. 2.

KANSAS COMMISSION ON VETERANS AFFAIRS
33        (a) There is appropriated for the above agency from the state general
34       fund the following:
35       Women in Military Service for America Memorial donation $10,000
36       Provided, That the above agency shall administer and provide for the disposition of this
37       donation for the Women in Service for America Memorial, located in Arlington, Virginia,
38       on behalf of the state of Kansas.
39             Sec. 3. This act shall take effect from and after its publication in the
40       Kansas register.
