  9             AN  ACT concerning elections; relating to campaign finance; amending
10             K.S.A. 25-4154 and repealing the existing section.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13             Section  1. K.S.A. 25-4154 is hereby amended to read as follows: 25-
14       4154. (a) No person shall make a contribution in the name of another
15       person, and no person shall knowingly accept a contribution made by one
16       person in the name of another.
17             (b) No person shall give or accept any contribution in excess of $10
18       unless the name and address of the contributor is made known to the
19       individual receiving the contribution.
20             (c) The aggregate of contributions for which the name and address
21       of the contributor is not reported under K.S.A. 25-4148 known shall not
22       exceed 50% of the amount one individual (,other than the candidate or
23       spouse), may contribute to or for a candidate's campaign.
24             (d) No person shall copy any name of a contributor from any report
25       or statement filed under the campaign finance act and use such name for
26       any commercial purpose, and. No person shall use any name for a com-
27       mercial purpose with knowledge that such name was obtained solely by
28       copying information relating to contributions contained in any report or
29       statement filed under the campaign finance act. 
30       Sec.  2. K.S.A. 25-4154 is hereby repealed.
31        Sec.  3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
32       publication in the statute book.
