  9             AN  ACT concerning a state fish.

11       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
12             Section  1. The channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) is hereby des-
13       ignated and declared to be the official fish of the state of Kansas. 
14        Sec.  2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
15       publication in the statute book.
