AN ACT making and concerning appropriations
for the fiscal year ending
10 June 30, 1999, for the
department of commerce and housing; author-
11 izing certain
transfers, imposing certain restrictions and limitations,
12 and directing or
authorizing certain receipts and disbursements and
13 acts incidental to the
foregoing.

15 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
State of Kansas:
16 Section 1. For the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1999, appropriations
17 are hereby made, restrictions and
limitations are hereby imposed, and
18 transfers, fees, receipts, disbursements
and acts incidental to the fore-
19 going are hereby directed or authorized as
provided in this act.

(a) In addition to the purposes for
which expenditures may be made
23 by the above agency from the Kansas
economic development endowment
24 account of the state economic development
initiatives fund for the fiscal
25 year ending June 30, 1999, expenditures may
be made by the above
26 agency from the Kansas economic development
endowment account of
27 the state economic development initiatives
fund for fiscal year 1999 for
28 the following subject to the expenditure
limitation prescribed therefor:

Grant for state of
Kansas sports hall of fame
$100,000
30 Provided, That the above agency
shall administer and provide for the payment of this grant
31 to the state of Kansas sports hall of fame:
Provided further, That all such expenditures for
32 such purpose shall be in addition to any
expenditure limitation imposed on the Kansas
33 economic development endowment account of
the state economic development initiatives
34 fund for fiscal year 1999 and on the state
economic development initiatives fund for fiscal
35 year 1999.
36 Sec. 3. This act
shall take effect and be in force from and after July
37 1, 1998, and its publication in the statute
book.
