                    SENATE BILL No. 627           By Senator Hensley           2-11             9             AN ACT concerning retirement and pensions; relating to court reporters;
10             retirement benefits.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13           Section 1. The provisions of K.S.A. 74-4999 et seq. and amendments
14       thereto shall apply to any member of the Kansas public employees re-
15       tirement system who was a court reporter for a district magistrate judge
16       prior to July 1, 1975, and who is a full-time court reporter on the effective
17       date of this act.
18           Sec. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
19       publication in the statute book.
