                    HOUSE BILL No. 2632           By Committee on Appropriations           1-16             9             AN ACT concerning the federal grant contracts clearing fund; transfer-
10             ring moneys credited to the fund and abolishing the fund; repealing
11             K.S.A. 75-3730a and 75-3730b.

13       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
14           Section 1. (a) On the effective date of this act, the director of ac-
15       counts and reports shall transfer the following amounts from the federal
16       grant contracts clearing fund to the funds specified therefor: (1) The sum
17       of $200,000 to the state general fund, (2) the sum of $300,000 to the
18       Kansas educational building fund, and (3) the sum of $100,000 to the
19       state institutions building fund.
20           (b) Upon completion of the transfers prescribed by this section, the
21       federal grant contracts clearing fund is hereby abolished.
22           Sec. 2. K.S.A. 75-3730a and 75-3730b are hereby repealed.
23           Sec. 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
24       publication in the Kansas register.
