AN ACT making and concerning appropriations
for the fiscal year ending
10 June 30, 1999, for the
Kansas commission on veterans affairs; author-
11 izing certain
transfers, imposing certain restrictions and limitations,
12 and directing or
authorizing certain receipts and disbursements and
13 acts incidental to the
foregoing.

15 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
State of Kansas:
16 Section 1. (a) For the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1999, appropria-
17 tions are hereby made, restrictions and
limitations are hereby imposed,
18 and transfers, fees, receipts,
disbursements and acts incidental to the fore-
19 going are hereby directed or authorized as
provided in this act.
20 Sec. 2.

KANSAS COMMISSION ON VETERANS AFFAIRS
22 (a) There is appropriated for
the above agency from the state general
23 fund the following:

Grant to Kansas Korean war memorial
association
$6,500
26 Provided, That expenditures from the
grant to Kansas Korean war memorial association
27 account shall be for the purchase of one
cast bronze panel for the Kansas Korean war
28 memorial located in veterans memorial park,
Wichita, Kansas.
29 Sec. 3. Effective
date. This act shall take effect and be in force from
30 and after July 1, 1998, or the date upon
which the omnibus reconciliation
31 spending limit bill of 1998 becomes
effective, whichever is later, and its
32 publication in the statute book.
