 9  AN ACT concerning the board of governors of the health care stabiliza-
10    tion fund; relating to approval by the governor of salaries and other
11    compensation of employees in the unclassified service under the Kan-
12    sas civil service act.

14  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
15    Section 1.  The salaries and other compensation of the executive di-
16  rector of the board of governors of the health care stabilization fund and
17  all other persons who are appointed by the board of governors of the
18  health care stabilization fund and who are in the unclassified service un-
19  der the Kansas civil service act shall be subject to approval by the gov-
20  ernor. On and after the effective date of this act, any salary or other
21  compensation of the executive director or any other employee of the
22  board of governors of the health care stabilization fund in the unclassified
23  service under the Kansas civil service act, that is fixed, increased or oth-
24  erwise changed by the board of governors, shall not be paid until approved
25  by the governor.
26    Sec. 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
27  publication in the Kansas register.
