Chairperson Warren opened the hearing HB2537.
Jason Thompson, Senior Assistant Revisor, provided an overview of the bill and stood for questions. (Attachment 8)
Mike O'Neal testifed in support of HB2537, stating there is no specific statute requiring a hearing and without a hearing there is not much of a record on which the District Court can base an opinion under the Kansas Judicial Review Act. (Attachment 9) Mr. O'Neal responded to questions from Committee members.
