Professor James M. Concannon provided testimony in support of the bill. (Attachment 5) Prof. Concannon recommended updating the Kansas Evidence Rules to accommodate technological advances such as easily-produced reliable copies and documents created or stored electronically. He provided many examples, points, and exceptions that are outlined in his attached testimony. Prof. Concannon stood for questions.
