Representative Jennings moved to amend HB2739 by removing the contents and inserting the amended contents of HB2709 with the Jennings amendment (Attachment 1), seconded by Representative Whitmer.
Natalie Scott gave a brief overview of HB2709. The Committee had comments and questions.
Representative Jennings moved to add to his amendment a technical change to re-order of the sections 2 and 3 of the amendment, Representative Whitmer agreed as the second.

Representative Highberger moved to amend HB2739 with a second amendment (Attachment 2) adding the contents of HB2621 as amended, seconded by Representative Koesten.

Representative Whitmer moved House Substitute for HB2739 favorably for passage as amended by the Jennings and Highberger amendments, seconded by Representative Finch.
