Matt Sterling, Revisor of Statutes, gave overview on HB2502, which would amend the cereal malt beverage law, and the sale cereal malt beverage licensees. (Attachment 9)

Question were asked by Senator Oletha Faust-Goudeau.

Proponents

Aaron Rosenow, Kansas Association of Beverage Retailers, in support of HB2502, but spoke from a neutral stand point on the sales tax issue. (Attachment 10)

Discussion and questions ensued by Senators:  Lynn Rogers, and  Caryn Tyson.

Eric Sartorius, League of Kansas Municipalities, spoke in support of HB2502 regarding the sales in convenience stores and grocery stores, and the tax on those sales. (Attachment 11)
