Natalie Scott gave a brief overview of HB2565. Chairman Jennings referred to information sent via email from Katie Whisman from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation speaking to the drug offender registration hit counts (Attachment 9) and from Liz Rice from the Kansas Department of Corrections on recidivism for drug offenders that were required to register (Attachment 10).
After discussion the Committee decided to delay final action on HB2565.
