Mike Heim, Reviser of Statutes, gave a reminder overview about the Free Speech bill SB340, that included a proposed balloon amendment by a student from Kansas University. (Attachment 2)
Discussion and questions ensued between Senators: Oletha Faust-Goudeau, Lynn Rogers, Ty Masterson, Bruce Givens, Richard Hilderbrand, and Jeff Longbine.
Senator Ty Masterson moved to favorably pass SB340, seconded by Senator Richard Hilderbrand. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Action on SB340 was closed.
Vice-Chair Rob Olson adjourned the meeting at 10:57am.
