Chairperson McGinn called for final action on HB 2280.
Senator Schmidt distributed a proposed balloon amendment that would insert the contents of SB 245 and discussed the recommended changes. Senator Schmidt responded to questions from Committee members. (Attachment 1)
Senator Schmidt moved, Senator Kelly seconded, adoption of the proposed balloon amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Schmidt moved, Senator Kelly seconded, to recommend HB 2280, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
Chairperson McGinn adjourned the meeting at 10:00.
