Chairperson Kelly opened the hearing on SB20.
Judi Stork testified in support of SB20 stating that it would improve several items in the Kansas Banking Code, including: correction of inadvertent changes made to the Code in 2015; clarify institutions' knowledge of requirements related to bank- and trust company-owned property; address issues related to collateral; and address administrative regulations regarding stockholders' meeting minutes. (Attachment 2) Ms. Stork responded to questions from the Committee.
There being no further conferees, Chairperson Kelly closed the hearing on SB20.
