Chairperson Barker opened the hearing on HB2200. Jason Long, Revisor, provided an overview of the bill (Attachment 7). Questions were asked of him by Chairperson Barker and Representatives Rooker, Arnberger, Whitmer, Lusk, and Wilson.
Chairperson Barker recognized Rebecca Proctor, Executive Director, Kansas Organization of State Employees, as a proponent of HB2200 (Attachment 8). Questions were asked by Representatives Clayton, Lusk, Humphries, Whitmer, Carpenter, and Chairperson Barker.
Chairperson Barker noted that there was written proponent testimony for the Committee to review from Representative John Alcala (Attachment 9); Kyle Nuckolls (Attachment 10); Terry Forsyth (Attachment 11); Alissa Byerly (Attachment 12); and Lynette Lewis (Attachment 13). He asked if there were any further conferees, but there were none.
The Hearing was closed on HB2200.
