Staff briefed the Committee on the contents of this bill.
Representative Highland moved to pass HB2095, seconded by Representative Wheeler. Representative Highland moved an amendment proposed by KS Department of Transportation, seconded by Representative Wheeler. (Attachment 1) Motion to amend carried. Back on the bill as amended. Representative Pittman proposed an amendment limiting the application to agricultural products, seconded by Representative Lusker. Discussion followed. Representative Pittman withdrew his amendment, agreed to by the second. Representative Highland closed on his Motion to pass. Motion carried.
The Chairman drew the Committee's attention to the Minutes of the meetings on January 31, February 1 and February 2, 2017. The Minutes had previously been provided to members. Representative Francis moved to approved the Minutes, seconded by Representative Schreiber. Motion carried.
Chairman Proehl announced that the next meeting will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 when he plans to do on Final Action on several bills.
There being no further business before the Committee the meeting was adjourned.
