72-6443. Ancillary school facilities weighting. (a) The ancillary school facilities weighting of each district shall be determined in each school year in which such weighting may be assigned to enrollment of the district as follows:

(1) Add the amount authorized under subsection (a) of K.S.A. 72-6441, and amendments thereto, to be produced by a tax levy and certified to the state board by the state board of tax appeals to the amount, if any, computed under subsection (b) of K.S.A. 72-6441, and amendments thereto, to be produced by a tax levy;

(2) divide the sum obtained under (1) by base state aid per pupil. The quotient is the ancillary school facilities weighting of the district.

(b) The provisions of this section shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1997.
