Vice Chair Sanders asked about the dollar amount of the scholarship per student. Michelle. Areanno, Director of Financial aid for Kansas Board of Regents was brought to podium to answer questions regarding availability of monies.
Representatives Howe, Smith, Woodard, Concannon, and Sanders request to pass over HB2843, and ask for an Interim committee to revisit HB2843.
Representative Mike Amyx moved, Representative Chuck Smith seconded, approval of the committee minutes from February 13, 14, and March 7, 2024. Motion carried.
Representative Howe adjourned meeting at 2:40 pm.
