Short Title

Abolishing the 911 coordinating council and establishing the state 911 board; abolishing the 911 operations fund, 911 state fund and 911 state grant fund outside of the state treasury and establishing the state 911 operations fund, state 911 fund and state 911 grant fund in the state treasury; increasing the minimum county distribution of 911 moneys; and authorizing counties to contract with other counties for the provision of 911 PSAP services.

Senator Petersen offered an amendment on HB 2690.(Attachment 1)

Senator Petersen made a motion to accept the amendment with approval for the Revisor to make necessary technical changes discussed, seconded by Senator Warren.  The motion carried.

Senator Francisco offered an amendment on HB 2690. (Attachment 2)

Senator Francisco made a motion to accept the amendment as presented, seconded by Senator Pittman.  The motion carried.

Senator Francisco made a motion to accept the amendment as presented, seconded by Senator Pittman.  The motion carried.

Senator Francisco offered a conceptual amendment that would allow the Revisor to include language stating that state grant funds and PSAP funds could be used for the emergency replacement or repair of radio towers.

Senator Francisco made a motion to accept the amendment as presented, seconded by Senator Pittman.  The motion carried.

Senator Petersen made a motion to accept HB 2690 as amended, seconded by Senator Bowers.  The motion carried.
