Chairwoman Warren opened the hearing on HB2549
Jason Thompson, Revisor's Office, provided an overview of the bill and stood for questions, (Attachment 1)
Austin Kent Vincent, Kansas Judicial Council, provided testimony in support of the bill. He stated The Committee unanimously agreed the language should be clarified to forestall attempts to misuse the statute in the future. (Attachment 2)
There being no further conferees, Chairwoman Warren closed the hearing on HB2549.
