Senator Mike Petersen testified in support of the bill and stated that the bill came from the Legislative Post Audit, which had found that consolidations of 911 services were not happening due to confusion about the statute. He stood for questions. (Attachment 2)
Senator Marci Francisco testified in support of the bill and stated that the bill would authorize counties to share services of 911 public safety answering points. She stood for questions. (Attachment 3)
Ed Klumpp testified in support of the bill and made several recommendations that were included in his testimony. He stood for questions. (Attachment 4)
