The Chairperson opened the hearing on HB2522. Natalie Scott provided an overview of the bill. (Attachment 8)
Secretary Jeff Zmuda from the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) testified in support of the bill. KDOC is currently striving to achieve the actions outlined in this bill as reintegration remains a high priority for the organization. (Attachment 9)
The Chairperson closed the hearing on HB2522.
