Staff Revisor Chris Waggoner briefed the Committee on the bill.
No discussion followed.
There were three proponents of the Bill to add an annual proviso into statute, one in-person and two written. Doug Jorgenson, State Fire Marshal was present in person (Attachment 3). The two written proponents were Kelly McCoy, CTO Director, Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute (Attachment 1) and Joe House, Executive Director of State Board of Emergency Medical Services (Attachment 2).
Discussion ensued. The hearing on HB2270 was closed.
