Chairperson Patton opened the hearing on HB2152. Natalie Scott provided an overview of the bill. (Attachment 5) Ms. Scott stood for questions.
Tim O'Sullivan testified on behalf of the Kansas Bar Association in support of HB2152. (Attachment 6) Mr. O'Sullivan stated HB2152 which would clarify how property, held under a transfer on death deed, is distributed when a beneficiary dies before the grantor. HB2152 will improve KSA 59-3504 which required clarification. Mr. O'Sullivan stood for questions.
