Chairperson Kerschen opened the hearing on SB40.
Tamera Lawrence of the Revisor of Statutes Office explained the bill.
Kenneth Titus spoke in support of the bill. He believes that the adoption of this bill will clarify the operation of the Division of Conservation and provide much needed modernization of the Conservation Districts Law and related acts.(Attachment 2)
A balloon amendment with some language changes was presented to the committee. Senator Doll moved and Senator Fagg seconded to add this amendment to the bill. Motion carried.(Attachment3)
Chairperson Kerschen closed the hearing on SB40.
With no further business before the committee, Chairperson Kerschen adjourned the committee at 9:20.
