Rachelle Colombo representing the Kansas Medical Society provided neutral testimony to HB2389. Originally the Society was opposed to the bill. With Walmart approaching the Society to narrow the scope of the medications covered by the bill. All parties have agreed to the amendment and the Society now has no issues with the bill (Attachment 6).
Ms. Colombo fielded questions from the committee.
The Chairperson closed the hearing on HB2389.
