Chairman Olson opened the hearing on the bill and called for a Revisor of Statutes review of the bill. Eileen Ma provided the review.
Chairman Olson called for proponent testimony.
Proponent Chris Swickard indicated that the bill allows for a permitted practice, levels the playing with competitors in Iowa and will make Kansas a more attractive state for insurance companies to locate.
Seeing no further testimony, Chairman Olson closed the hearing on the bill.
