The Chairperson asked for discussion and final action on HB2166 (Financial Literacy). Revisor Jason Long distributed a balloon amendment to the Committee members and reviewed the changes and additions. (Attachment 11)
Representative Erickson moved, Representative Toplikar seconded, to adopt the proposed balloon amendment. Motion carried 8/6.
There was a brief discussion.
Representative Erickson moved, Representative Thomas seconded, to recommend HB2166, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion failed. 5/10.
