Chairman Sutton opened the hearing on HB2171.
Revisor Mike Heim gave an overview to the bill.
Proponent Mark Skoglund spoke to the bill. HB2171 would require that while the paid for attribution may occur elsewhere on an electronic communication besides end of the page, it most nonetheless be clear and obvious. The commission would not have difficulty in educating individuals and organizations about the requirements(Attachment 2.
